Date Change

Strawberry Fields Forever May 17 Ride Postponed to October 11, 2020 (tentative)

Dear May 17, 2020 Strawberry Fields Forever (SFF) volunteer,

You are receiving this email because you have registered for the 31st annual, May 17th, 2020 Strawberry Fields Forever Ride to be a volunteer or you have volunteered in the past.    As the situation with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, our SFF team’s concern for everyone’s health and safety is the reason for postponing to a tentative date of October 11, 2020. In order to confirm the date we must know that securing permits and the high school are possible. As many work places are either closed or operating with reduced staff, this is a slow process.

Although none of us know how this situation will look in May we believe registrants will appreciate certainty regarding our event’s schedule. We trust this virus will not be an issue by October and will continue monitoring and advise you of any changes. If you are unable to ride on Oct 11th and registered after January 1, 2020   you may transfer your registration. Our apologies that discounted registrations are not transferable.

The planning for October’s ride will include all necessary and prudent steps to minimize health risks to our riders, volunteers and supporters.

Our SFF team thanks you for being a valued volunteer and we look forward to seeing you in October. Please sign up ( https://www.cyclistsforculturalexchange.org/sff ) for the October date so we know you can help out and know your free t-shirt size.

Keep riding, keep your spirits up, and stay well,

SFF organizing team
